Ok, it is important now to break off all contact with him. Do not tell him a single thing, especially that you have reported him here. Then go read our topics: What to do if you are a victim of a scam viewtopic.php?f=11&t=26504
and How the scams work & Instructional videos viewtopic.php?f=11&t=24589
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

He also contacted me. Using a kids picture posing with him saying it is his son. He contacted me on Hinge. I could tell he was a scammer within just a few short minutes because of his shallow responses. His responses consisted of only a few words or short sentences with almost no feeling at all.
People please be careful. He claims to be in the US Military and that his father passed away when he was 3. He says he was born in Mexico but refers to his Mother as "Mum" which definitely nobody from Mexico calls their mother "Mum."
