Struggling, the victim made another payment to the indicated bank account on February 15. The fraudsters said that the payment was denied, because the "UN" typed some of the details wrong.

Of course, it cannot be that easy. A new problem occurred and is not hard to guess who was blamed for it...

We are glad to inform you that your husband’s leave approval letter is
ready and it has been officially activated for him to leave immediately
to be with you.

But on the contrary we received a disturbing report from his unit that
the leave should be put on hold (suspended) for now pending when the
problem he caused is fixed. According to the information we got, he
damaged a very sensitive component used for detecting danger zones (DDZ)
while on duty on 3th April. Investigation is ongoing to know what led to
such serious damage that has a dangerous consequence on their lives.

However, we advise you to be calm and don’t panic for this development,
we are promise you that sergeant Harry will pull through because he is a
good guy here according to his unit head. All you need to do is to be
calling him often and encouraging him to be strong for you because the
damage he caused could cause him his career and land him prison if it is
not rectified before the information gets to UK military.

Nevertheless, we are going to forward the approval letter to you.

Thanks
General B.B. Bell

Attn: xxx

It is obvious that you and Sergeant Harry are taking us for granted and
consequently you decided to keep us mute on the problem you and your
husband caused. We want to let you know that sergeant Harry is going to
be punished and right now he is the cell thus he will not be allowed to
talk to you or anyone outside this camp because we have his phone for
further investigation.

We want to let you know that your approach to this issue indicates that
sergeant Harry probably is not your relative or your husband. And if we
discover that you are not related in anyways, the military will make his
punishment severe and you will be fished out wherever you are to explain
your role as an ISIS agent to infiltrate the camp and jeopardize the
mission because our investigation reveals that the damage happened when
he was on video call or chat with you while on duty
.

We therefore advise you to write us immediately to know your position on
this before we take any further actions.

Thanks

These photos are now active in Tinder, Sydney, Australia;
Scammer posing as DAVIS 49yo (Davis Michael Randy), a US Marine from NYC, working in Nigeria.
Watch out for the bad grammar, "sweet" "lovehearts emoji" and asking to go onto Messenger and Whatsapp quickly.

Thank you for the added information. Is there anything else you can add?

E-mails, E-mail addresses, Fake documents, & places you were asked to send money like bank accounts and Western Union details are all helpful.

You should stop all contact with the scammer.
Do not tell them you know they are a scammer.
If you sent money to the scammer you should file a report with your local police.
Then take the police report to wherever you sent the money through and try to get any payments reversed.
