How did it go?

For us, the purpose of working with the media is twofold. Firstly, we want to get the word out about scams, how they work, how to avoid them and what to do if you do get scammed. Secondly, we want to get the word out about us and how we can help people. Yesterday we appeared twice on TV. BBC1 did a pretty good job. We were the B story, nothing more than a fluff piece, but that's what we expected. S4C on the other hand seemed to go out of their way to avoid saying the site's name. Oddly enough, I've visited an ITV studio four times for three different programs, and on two of those occasions now they haven't mentioned the site's name. The program itself was OK, it just annoys me when they don't mention us. One out of two ain't bad though. Let's keep our eye on the positives.
