Read this and decide whether I'm talking about scammers, politicians or both.

Not only do they lie, but they distract, shift blame and change their point of view to whatever they think will benefit them the most. They'll try to sell you a dream that's never going to happen and they know it's never going to happen when they're selling it to you. They will also claim to have not said/done something when evidence clearly and repeatedly shows they did. When confronted with the evidence, they'll deny it or claim it to be fake and an attack on them from someone with an agenda against them. Warning people about them with the facts can help. However, some people only see what they want to see and ignore anything that doesn't fit their viewpoint no matter how much danger that's going to put them in.
