SlapHappy's Story

Unread postby SlapHappy » Fri Apr 27, 2012 4:26 am

My story is similar to Wayne's. I just stumbled on it while clicking funny
links. I had never heard of scambaiting before, and was amazed at the crazy
things that ordinary people could get scammers to do for a promise of cash.
It appealed to my sense of creativity and drama, like writing a screenplay with
the scammers as the main characters, only they do not know they are acting in
it.
We both started on the same baiter website, but I was never that interested in
the "yucky factor" of baiting love scammers. I used to drop into the Love
Forum there, and see and read of the latest "Wayne and Pinky baits" once in
awhile just for a chuckle. I liked safari baiting the best and mentoring
others who were interested. About 4 years ago I started doing lots of audio
calls to scammers as part of baits and internet radio shows that we had to
educate people about scammers. It was about this time that I got to know Wayne
and Pinky better. After about 5 years of baiting scammers, I was ready for a
change. Wayne asked me to join him on another website, and so I left to help
the other side of the scam, dealing with the victims. I've learned many new
things and have enjoyed helping them recover. I still do some baiting,
mentoring, and audio calls playing "fake victims" in other baits. I still
enjoy the drama of baits, developing new characters, playing audio improv in
cold calls to scammers to find good candidates for business disruptions. It's
my comic relief.
For other hobbies, I enjoy fishing, canoing, and other outdoor activities.
I have the World's Most Stubborn Cat now, so if anyone wants her, I'd be glad
to donate her to you. You must not like your new walls, furniture, doors, or
any other cat-scratchable surfaces. She loves to modify them to look like
rough-barked trees. She is absolutely immune to the word, "NO!" screamed at
incredible volumes, water sprays, staying outside all night as punishments.
She needs 24-hour/day constant attention and supervision, unlike all newborn
babies. Even Premies need less watching than her. She likes to sleep all day
and keep you awake all night. I have a feeling that she may not really be a
cat at all, but a Tasmanian Devil.
If anyone asks you for money on the Internet they are always a scammer, 100% of the time.

Yeah, on one condition. She is 140% nonreturnable.

Do not let the looks fool you. She is pure evil. In fact, if a lad lived next door, I'd give her to them. They would be dead within a week.

I finally found this update. Don't know how I missed it the first time. Thanks for all of your ideas / Mentoring through the year 3/4 that I've been doing this. You've helped me more than you'll ever know. I'll do my best to help keep the place in orderly fashion.

Also, I need your mailing address to send the 5 dollars to for the nice referral:
Big Al is going to be picking up the slack I'm leaving behind in my wake.
He's a loving, caring, and hard working guy, so you are in good hands with him. Treat him as nicely as you did me. Actually...nicer would be better!

You want that by Bank transfer?

I know there's no way I'll be able to fill Slappy's shoes so I'm not even gonna try. I'm just gonna fix whatever I can and keep doing whatever I can to support the site. If any of you have any questions, feel free to ask them. I'll get Wayne & FF right on them. LOL.

SH - Slappy, my friend, my confidant and most importantly the one person who pushed, pulled and dragged me out of my scam - and yelled at me in Latin. You taught me many things, but most importantly you taught me to look after victims, and support them any way I can. You are a wonderful, thoughtful person, and I admire you and you will always be my inspiration to move forward with my life, when everything seems to look like I can't. I will miss you, but we have skype,so every now and again be prepared --- you will never get rid of me, as I will never, ever leave you as a friend that has helped me me through many things.
Learn to be happy again, and Missy (the cat) loves you, why do you think she makes you crazy??
Just know you have a friend in Western Canada, who would love to go fishing with you someday...
Thank you my friend for always listening, when I needed a listener ---
