I haven't heard anything of a scam involving shipping animals before I started sending e-mails to people claiming to have puppies and claiming to live in a certain place. More than half of their replies were containing the country of Cameroon.
I started getting suspicious straight away. So, now I'm in talks with another person claiming to be from Aberdeen, UK. Air France is the selected airline to ship the puppy (if there actually is one) but the money will be sent to Cameroon, where the head office is...

I got an e-mail from this person saying I would need to pay before getting the puppy. Now, I immediately got suspicious again and said that I wouldn't make a payment before seeing the puppy, I asked if they would pay and I'd promise to pay them back. The person then replied that they only could afford 40pounds of the supposed 90pounds shipping fee.

Am I right to be cautious here?

I have just been scammed by a woman claiming to have english bulldog puppies.she only wanted the shipping fee 65pounds.i sent it, then she wanted 40pounds for a crate,i sent it.she then wanted 20pounds for puppy passport which had expired,i then became suspicious and told her if she payed it then i would pay it back when i received the pup.she told me she would not pay it and would give me the chance to get the 20pounds by next week.i have now asked for my money back and am not getting a reply from her now.i sent the money via money gram.her email address is

I think i may be getting scammed but i am not sure. I came across an ad on a website, for an english bulldog for adoption. So obviously i inquired about the puppy. They sent me pictures of 2 dogs that i could chose from, i chose which one i would like. Told me the cost would only be 70 dollars for the papers. The reason why they were up for adoption, is because they could not keep it because of work conditions or something of that nature. Then the guy calls me today from an unknown number, obviously didnt know english very well.. and asks me if i can send the money to him today. This is before i found this site, so i did. However, the guy is still emailing me.. and yet always is able to answer emails in a quick and timely fashion. I sent the money to a FRU CARLSON.. and everything seemed legit. however, i am supposed to receive the puppy tomorrow. which now i think is doubtful. but who steals 70 DOLLARS??!

When this whole situation started we were trying to find some african grey parrots, we found a add on jaabu.com, the place said new york, new york and they want $550 for two birds both 5 months old, later after talking to them on email they have droped the price to $100 and that is just to cover the shipping they claim and the birds have changed to 10 weeks old, in one email they have stated that they left the birds at the airport and it has been arranged to ship them when they receive the money, here is the part where we have the problem, I have started to look on the internet about it being a fraud due to the fact that something just doesn't feel right about it and as of right now am not going to send them the money due to the fact that I have seen all the immense reports of frauds out of cameroon.

i was about to get a yorkie online till i came to this website they were asking for $200 for the shipping i had a feeling something wasn't right. Every time i tried to ask questions he would keep answering once you send the money you will get all the information. When i called the number listed the wife picked up and the guy grabbed the phone very quickly which seemed suspicious. I'm so glad i came upon this site before actually going and sending the money i just had a really bad feeling about this. I would feel horrible if i just spent $200 of my money on something i wouldn't receive.
