Like I said in my previous mail I am a commission agent. I source for foreign suppliers for the government. When you start up business with the contract award committee as a supplier through me, I will stand here as your representative to make sure that everything goes on well. This includes submitting and signing of necessary bidding documents from your company to the committee on your behalf and making sure that your contract fund is released on time once you win the bid.
If you win this contract through my effort, I will be entitled to 1% commission of the total contract sum as gratification for my company. That means you have to prepare your quote in such a way that my 1% commission has to come outside of your own profit.It would be my own duty to make sure it is approved.
This money will only be paid to me after you must have received the contract payment from the contract award committee which would be sent to you three days after the signing of the contract agreement through bank to bank telegraphic money transfer. It may interest you to note that the contract award committee on behalf of the government of the Republic of Ghana makes an upfront payment of 70% of the contract fund as mobilization fee and 30% L/C to be confirmed by your bank before supply. That means that once you win the contract and sign the contract papers between you and the committee, 70% of the contract fund would be remitted into your account for you to start work.
If you are okay by this arrangement, please let me know conveniently so I can tell you the quantities required. I await your urgent reply as soon as possible.
