What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: So this is more of an update. I had deactivated my Facebook for a month after the incident. I did end up paying the individuals extortion before using this site originally. I blocked the individual after paying the ransom and watching over Skype the deletion of the video that was recorded of me. I never did block the phone number stupidly just deleted the messages. Today I was contacted again by the same phone number because I recognized it, I immediately deactivated my Facebook account and was asked by “Victoria” to do one more favor which was to create a new POF account for her (probably actually a him). I have now blocked that phone number. I just wanted to add this info to any file you may have against this person particularly the web based phone application. She’s a dangerous person and I don’t want anyone to deal with what I dealt with

If you want to get rid of them for good you need to change YOUR phone number. Blocking is not enough.
Everything used with the scammer is compromised.
