Deleted all social media. Deleted all texts and numbers. Deleted all
photos

Scammer approached on Instagram. Messaging with a intimate photo.
Requested moving to text so as to get more intimate. After an evening of
sexting with exchange of photos and video, scammer friends wife on
Instagram and s
Texts with request for $50 for an app to “block” wife. When I refused,
scammer sent my intimate photos via. Text with the demand for $1000 within
30 minutes or they would publish photos to family friends and coworkers.
Scammer asked that $800 be sent via. MoneyGram and $200 in itune cards.
When MoneyGram transaction appeared canceled, scammer demanded using
Western Union. My bank put a fraud alert out and stopped that transaction.
I convinced scammer to provide additional time so that I could procure
$1000 in iTunes cards. After return with the cards, I discussed the
situation with family and we elected not to send cards. Scammer then became
increasingly threatening. They sent the photos to me again and finally
threatened to call authorities as they were only 16 years of age. We have
notified Instagram with a report and plan to contact authorities.

/this person used the name Jason Dasey to threaten reporting to a UKchild protect organization unless victim paid. Scammer contacted victims wife with threats if victim did not pay. Threats include “you better talk to me and pay for using me”. “You can’t run and hide”. “ I like smart people”. Threats have continued for about 36 hours. Authorities have been involved and watching all threats and contacts. Scammer has used 5 different phones numbers in attempts to solicit contact along two different email addresses. Authorities have all these contact attempts.

You need to follow ALL the steps, or the scammer will escalate the scam and may do what he threatens to.
Change your email accounts.
Change your phone number.
Cut him off from all contact with you, and "disappear."

It's essential you READ CAREFULLY and follow ALL the steps.
