What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: Deleted my Twitter, deactivated my FB (left a note while deactivating it, saying that I’ve been a victim of a scam and I won’t be setting up another one, so if one shows up, to delete it immediately if possible ), deleted my Skype, blocking the scammer before that.

Chatous is random talk with strangers online. You do not choose them, the website just randomly connects you to people.

Unfortunately, if you get matched with a scammer, you could be screwed if you "play their game."
