I did not pay, but decided to ignore them still. Blocked skype, deactivated facebook. But they know some of my friends links, so im really afraid they might post the footage :(

It's been half an hour since I said I would have paid them. And I havn't heard of anything yet..

What name did the scammer use?: Heather Ryan
Scammer's email address if you have it.: louis.heather@yahoo.com

Scammer's Skype username . THE NAME WILL HAVE NO SPACES IN IT.: louis.heather@yahoo.com
What site did you first meet the scammer on?: Craigslist
If they asked you to leave the site , where did they take you to?: Skype
How much money did they demand?: $125
Name you were told to send the money to. : Brandon George
What country/city were you told to send the money to?: USA
If they gave you a phone number, please add it here.: 562-714-1721
How were you to send the money ?: MoneyGram

Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: Scammer stated she was over 18 before we agreed to a cam show. Towards the actual beginning of the show, she edited the line (proven by the pen edit mark in skype) and changed it to "i am 15."

That's where the blackmail happened. I was accused of soliciting a minor and was told I was going to be revealed to my family and friends. No cam show actually happened and no recording ever took place (I never do).

If they told you they were a minor before the chat, we can not and will not help you. If they claimed to be older, then after the chat said they were going to tell everyone you had been talking to a minor, then so long as you follow all the steps in blackmailscams.com then you should be fine. They're not going to go to the police.

Like firefly said above they edited the conversation to change her age. No video had taken place I paid before the video happened and then they sent the notice.
