Horrible last 48 hours.
On Wed 10/10, I went on to ChatRoulette - just a couple of minutes after being on there I was paired with what I thought was a live web cam of a pretty young woman, now realizing that it could have been a recording. The woman in the video was in her lingerie and after her dancing and showing me her body she asked me to show her mine. Not knowing that a scam like this even existed and in a moment of impulse, I did! I was asked to add 'her' on Facebook, again being caught up in the moment, I did. I think I might of asked 'her' to go on Skype. This all happened in about 5 mins.

The first thing I see on Skype when we connected was a video looping of me exposing myself. The video looping was maybe about 10 seconds long. And I got this message:

Hi Mr"*************"i want to tell you that i have recorded you while you where
m***urbating yourself,now im having all your""contact list on facebook
friends,family.Even if you run away i can show them your clip.
i will finish this job one time or somewho or order.
if you want to delet it ,you must do what i tell u

They listed about 15 of my Facebook Contacts.

I was incredibly panicked. Felt helpless.

I sent the $360. They then immediately began demanding an additional $600.
They kept calling my phone, making threats. My panicking began turning in to anger.
20 minutes after wiring the money, I called Western Union to cancel the wire, but the
money had already been claimed.

Still on Skype they sent me a link of a video on youtube, the name of the video was my name,
it was uploading. I dont think it actually ever fully uploaded however. Still threatening me they continued
to call. I began ignoring them, told them to screw off. They called for the next 24 hours. Text Messages, Messages on Facebook and on Skype.

I regret having sent any money. Thankfully I came across this forum!

The name used on Facebook was Sara Ventura.

The number that kept appearing on my caller id was: 212601052495
On my text messages it appeared as: 011 212 60 1052495
The name used on the youtube account was: Tarik Bibo and they used what I think is the Monster Energy Drink logo as their profile picture.

They were asking that I send an additional $600 to:

After coming across this forum and snapping out of it just a little bit more I took the following steps.

I deleted Sara Ventura from my friend's list on Facebook
Changed my privacy settings so that no on can post on my Timeline, I made my contact's list viewable to only me and made it so no one can tag me in a photo without my approval.

I closed my Skype account. I deleted my personal information from my profile on Skype before closing it, as I think even after a Skype account has been closed, a user's information can still be searched and found.

I set VARIOUS Google Alerts for various ways my name can be spelled and set them to 'AS IT HAPPENS' - Google will alert you when anything with your name is found online.

I contacted my cellphone company and they were able to block text messages from this number but not calls.
To help with the calls, as my voicemail greeting, I recorded a message off of Youtube saying "the # you have reached has been changed" - figuring this MIGHT help and throw them off. I also received two or three calls that appeared as BLOCKED. I'm figuring this was probably them also.

I never received an email so I'm assuming they don't have my email.

I told just a handful of close friends. They understood and have been supportive. I haven't found a video. No one has told me they've received any links or a video or anything similar.

I am a victim,

First off I just wanted you to know that I was a victim of the same exact scam on chat roulette about a week ago. I know EXACTLY what you are feeling. I was so sick for two days and I could even eat I was so worried. Since I have completely blocked the person, I have heard nothing. They usually move on if you don't pay them or talk to them. Whatever you do.... DO NOT ENGAGE In Communicating with the scammer! They may think you are vulnerable now since you sent money, and may post the video to try to get you to submit to them. Either way you can have the video on YouTube deleted very quickly. I also think Facebook can block IP addresses if they start seeing multiple profiles on one IP. So i doubt they will post the video to your friends. They would have to do it one at a time through private message. That also puts them at risk to have there profile banned, and video deleted. Whatever you do, do not give them any money and do not say a word to them. This is all a scare tactic that obviously works very well for these people. These scum bags do this for a living. If they see that you no longer are communicating with them, they will most likely move on to another vulnerable victim.

You had much more info about your scammer then I had about mine and I'm glad you were able to share it on here. This whole situation has made me a stronger person as it will for you. Keep strong and just know we all know what you are going through.

That is definitely the picture that was used on Skype.

In my particular case they said 'she' was from Paris.

They had one or two more pictures on Facebook.

It's almost 24 hours since they last tried contacting me.

Even if they try, dont reply, dont say a single word, no matter how hard it is. In few days, it will be more easy to ignore it . And after a week or two, you will be relieved to see he forgot already about you. The good thing is that everyone in the same situation will find the report about the scammer here, before to be to late.

i have the same problem. The same guy made a video from me yesterday. He told me that he has all of my facebook contacts and wehn i dont send him money he will send the video of me to all my contacts. unforteantly i was so stupid and gave him the money. ( i had so much panic). he said, i deleted the video ( of course he didnt) this morning he sent me a sms and said i must give him some more money in an hour. i didnt. this is about one hour back. i didnt hear anything from him.

Im very scared that he send the video to all my fb contacts but i wont give him more money. what should i do?
does he forget this in a few days or will he scam me for lonnger and let me live in a scared way?

i just get a sms from him. he said if i dont send him the code from the western union he will send it to all my contacts.
