Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: The guy couldn't make a text hardly legible at all. It was obvious that it was not a professional or authority because of the language and texting style used. I hadn't been bothered by this until he blew my phone up at 4am one morning until I answered since it awoke me from a deep sleep. He claimed to be willing to give me two options, and that was turn the "papers" in to his attorney OR help pay with his daughters counseling and device deactivation. He was obviously looking for a way to steer me into the direction of paying and said he would find out where to send the Money gram. So in the time spent off the phone I did research and came across this forum. I was relieved to know that this is a complete fake. I never did anything wrong and he was accusing me of very awful things. The guy also was so clear on what he said it almost sounded as if it were scripted.

[Mod note: It IS scripted. They try scamming 30-40 people a day. Scammers use copy/pasted threats over and over, to every single victim.]

What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: Didn't pay told them I knew it was a scam. Asked for a full name and address to send a check to.

Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: The dad told me he was telling the police, a fake cop called me, said I should settle with the "dad" how ever he couldn't give a full name and badge number. The dad said I need to pay for the phone and counseling, and that the mom was upset. The pictures were low quality of a blonde on a red bed and a lepord print throw blanket nude, with a picture of Marlon Monroe in the background. He asked for 1500. I asked for proof she was real and under age, and a full name and address to send a check to. They wanted money gram. I didn't pay.

Now girls father called me and said she is 16 and she is minor and i have to pay for her counselling otherwise he will press charges on me. He also said he wants to calm down her wife for this all.

There's a few new steps that you may have missed. Best thing right now is to go to www.blackmailscams.com and follow everything there. That'll put you in the best possible position.
