Thanks very much for the link. A summarisation of what I've learnt is to not pay them. But I do need some more reassurance..this could completely ruin my life if im one of 3/3000. Is their a way I can talk to someone through skype or live messaging? I have a neurological disease which affects my ability to think properly so as you can imagine this whole ordeal has put me into over drive panic mode!

They do not look here. And Moroccans are blocked from the website. No worries.
They scam 30-40 a day here, use the same scripts with everyone, and would have no idea anyway.
They are not interested in vindictiveness, just money.
Since you disappeared, they will go scam others.

This one got me....and I panicked and ended up paying immediately. I then found this website and did everything advised, but I am basically out of mind at the moment considering I have been reading that paying actually worsens the situation. If there is anything I can do beyond what was said...well let me know! Also, considering I am extremely prone to anxiety and depression, any comforting words as well would be greatly appreciated.Thanks ya'll for making this website; I would definitely be in much worse shape if it wasn't for this...

What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: Reported FB account and Skype account. Showed me link of video on youtube and I reported it. Video was taken down, though I assume person kept original. Unfortunately, I didn't see the account in youtube under which it was posted and since it was taken down, I cannot see the account anymore.

Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: Person seems to have scanned facebook friend list once I added to my friends and then threatened to send video link to my friends (showed me url link to my friends) if I failed to pay money.
