Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed, no matter how trivial it may seem at the time.: If you do go to skype for live chatting, be wary of their video starting. When a person records they usually put on a pre-recorded video and you can tell because it will take them time to put the video up. So if the chat starts without video be cautious. Also if the screen goes blank and then the video comes back up and it looks different then it is pre-recorded and get the heck out. You can see differences in the background, or if the person is in a different position or doing something completely different in a matter of seconds.

As long as the scammer still have a way to communicate with you means you have not done something right about the steps you need to follow for protecting yourself.

Go again on www.blackmailscams.com, fill that form you find there with all the details you have about the scammer and after you submit read and apply every single step mentioned there to protect yourself.

That includes also changing your phone number...

My scam was the exact same person/alias as the guy that just posted about Ashley Watson. I completed the form about it. I haven't heard from her/him since like 3am central standard time. and it is now 830. But they have my number, i blocked my social media and the number she used and deactivated it all as well, i told them i would go to a western union this morning, however i am not going to. She used the same names to send to as well.
I had strict privacy on my facebook, but she copied links to my friends pages because that was all that was visible to the public was my friend list. And threatened to post to friends and family if i do not comply. Even though she can't contact me and hasn't yet, I am worried he or she will go through with the threat.
I swear if i ever meet a person like this, so help me God.
