Skylink-Xpress - skylink-xpress.com

Unread postby firefly » Thu Apr 09, 2020 4:29 pm

Victims of romance scams are asked to get in contact with a fake courier company, while receiving parcels allegedly sent from war zones by fake military personnel in war zones or fraudsters pretending to be business people traveling abroad.

The fake courier pretends to be Skylink-Xpress and is active from the fraudulent domain name skylink-xpress.com.

From the fake website:

skylink-xpress was founded in 1982 as an international Courier Systems; A big name for three childhood friends and their personal pickup trucks and cars. John Grainger, Dave Weikers, and Craig McCann started out by providing ground transportation in UK for the interstate banking system, and, exclusively through word-of-mouth, became the pickup and delivery agent of choice for a multitude of courier companies across the nation. John and Dave incorporated under the skylink-xpress moniker in 1985 and began to grow a company through trial and error; arguably the best teachers.

The name of the courier and some of the content shown on the fake website are stolen from a real company having nothing to do with the scam.
