The real JPMorgan Chase Bank, doing business as Chase Bank, was founded in 1799.

The fake one pretending to be Chase Bank was created 2 weeks ago and is used by Nigerian fraudsters.

Victims of various types of scams (inheritance, lotteries etc) are directed to this fake bank and asked to complete a form for opening a bank account:

After opening the account, the victim will be able to see that account showing the promised money. For making the transfer, the victim will be asked to pay various fees.

The fake bank is also used in romance scams - fake characters will share their login details with the victims, as a sign of good faith, to prove they can return the financial help they are asking for.

The bank is fake and also fake are all those bogus bank accounts.

Same Nigerian fraudsters, same recipe, another fake bank, this time pretending to be China CITIC Bank.

The real one was founded in 1987.

The fake one was created in August last year.
