Posted on behalf of the victim:

I have been victim of Advance fees scam from
South Africa.
The company name is World Global Trade Commodity. Director Karel Van
Heerden Kirsten.
The company is registered in South Africa and I checked the
registration before placing my order and paid advance 30% as negotiated.
I bought from this company Copy paper A4.
Website of the company: wgtc.co.za
After Proforma Invoice and advance payment, I received some kind of
documents from a supposed shipping agent which said that they are
shipping goods from South Africa to our company in xxx and that
the shipping is prepaid.
A second email came with a fake Bill of Lading, Packing list, final
invoice and a tracking number with Container number.
Of course this tracking number and container number works only on the
shipping agent website.
The shipping agent website is: globalcargologistics.co.za
When I asked for real documents and the rest of them, I received an
email 3 days later saying that I can receive the rest of documents
only if I pay the remaining 70% to the seller. They say the reason why
they sent this email is that the seller needs to pay them and he is
waiting for this money to pay them.
I replied that the agreement is that I will pay 70% after the goods
reach destination port, and if they need to get paid, they should ask
the company who contracted them.
2 days after I received an email saying that if I don't pay, the
shipment will be on Hold at the transit port. Which will result in our
company having to pay additional fees.
I asked them to stop black mailing us and to solve the problem with
the supplier.
I asked the supplier to solve the problem so that the shipment can be
delivered resulting in him getting the remaining payment. He then
started saying that he will take the matter to the police arguing that
we are trying to steal his container.
I asked them to pay and they sent me a WhatsApp message saying that
they cancel our order and will pay back within 1 week. The next day
they said that they have to get their insurance involved and then once
the insurance evaluates the problem they will pay back accordingly.
The supplier and shipping agent are still sending emails asking us to
pay or bear the bad consequences of this shipment being hold in the
transit port which they say is MUNDRA in India.
Many discrepancies show that there was never a shipment: BL number and
Container exist only in their website, The container can not hold the
weight they are announcing, the vessel they say is going to Mundra was
going to Jebel Ali, the dates of loading are totally false....

The fake websites are part of a nest of fraudulent domain names operated by scammers originating from the Cameroon, some of them located in South Africa.
