Victoria Milan - Inheritance beneficiary scam

Unread postby Scamblocker » Tue Jul 28, 2015 2:57 am

The Victoria Milan affair dating web site has a fake profile scammer looking to fool someone into being a financially supportive beneficiary, to allegedly allow "her" to retrieve inheritance funds from her late husband's estate.

The scammer claims her husband was killed in a horrific car crash 2 years ago and has millions of dollars locked up in Malaysia from mining interests, to which her late husband's solicitor in Malaysia is assisting in getting the money released. The scammer's story grows, with her eventually saying she can't trust the solicitor's choice of a beneficiary as they will just want to take all her money, so "she" miraculously trusts me to do this after a few VM messages and a couple of emails.

The scammer claims she has nothing to hide on Victoria Milan, as her husband is deceased, so she stated her real name is Ashley Myers and she is a Vet Doctor. A check of all the Australian state Vet registrations reveals there is no Ashley Myers registered as a VET.

This scammer provided the name and address of a very popular cafe / restaurant for a first meeting, planning the day, but failed to confirm a meeting time and did not respond to messages until 2 days after the date, claiming "she" had to fly to Malaysia urgently and then introduced the first information about the inheritance, to build a story that could lead into the scam.

The scammer made copy / paste errors by using different fonts on the email replies, indicating they were using scripted text added to actual replies to my questions. Guessing they are tackling multiple people on Victoria Milan and maybe other web sites.

Scammer details:

Victoria Milan site profile name is Ash100. I've attached the screen shot of the profile, marking it not family friendly because of some of the text.

Age given is 44.

Date of birth on fake Victorian Driver's Licence is 02/04/1970.

The licence has a confirmed error on VICROADS points check indicating it is fake, plus it is the old style no longer used, as it does not have the clear date strip and holograms. Likely the scammers are international and not aware of the change in the Victorian Licence security measures. The scan of the fake licence is attached.

An Australian passport scan was also provided as proof of identity. The number is M8653682 and the photo page is attached. I have no means of checking this one, but its not hard to assume with all the other fake information, that the passport is also fake.

Using the web reverse photo tool "tineye", I found the fully clothed pictures the scammer provided to me, belong to an internet porn star with a stage name of Natalia Spice. I won't put the link to the porn star pictures on here, as there are plenty of other pictures on that site which are not family friendly.

I did not provide any identifying information about myself to the scammers. They only have my non identifying, throw away email address. Per the advice on this excellent scam survivors site, I have not alerted the scammer that I am fully aware of the scam, nor informed Victoria Milan, so the profile will remain on Victoria Milan.

I asked this "Ashley Myers" for proof of identity when "she" asked if I would be a financially supportive beneficiary, as "she" had avoided the planned meeting date with me and I should meet people before getting into financial arrangements for my own safety. I was already suspicious having read the great advice on this site, but knowing I had sufficient identity protection, I sought a little more information from the scammer to confirm my suspicions and to aid others to avoid the scammer by posting the scammer provided information here.

I have now broken all contact and blocked, so no harm done to me.

By the way "she" sends an email asking questions to see if you are compatible, before any mention of the scam is revealed. Some of the questions make sense for an affair dating site, but I became suspicious when asked what suburb, what's your job, what car do you drive etc, was mixed in amongst the reasonable questions. I gave vague to fully misleading answers to all of those questions, as I expected they might be used to narrow their search in identifying me. There was also I question if I would fly up to Malaysia, or if I couldn't afford that the solicitor could contact me, so "she" wanted my mobile number. I was expecting the next email to be a request for my passport details. It didn't get that far, as the request for my mobile number, if supplied, would have provided a path to identify me easily through social media, so it was the final trigger to break contact.

I hope the information provided can protect some people from getting scammed by whoever is behind this fake identity.

Scamblocker,
Please post her email address and the actual emails she sent, NOT THE PARAPHRASED STORY.

Stories without actual emails does not constitute proof of scam. It is hearsay evidence. Thanks.

now post every single email sent from the scammer to you, or this report will stay hidden from open view, and it will be a total waste of your time.
