Hi, I tool the chance to email the US embassy to ask if there was any diplomat in Syria with the name of David Grant, (I know there isn't but it was an attempt to prove to my brother in law!) and received the following email this morning.
Now maybe I'm just being a little over cautious, but, i'm not 100% sure if this is genuine, so I've included the message source details below (with my email details removed)
