Briefly explain what happened during the scam. : I was sent a connection on LinkedIn and at first this person asked if I knew of job opportunities and I tried to help out thinking it’s LinkedIn its what people do but after asked if we could get to know each other … we started texting and everything felt okay … she told me she was college educated and born on 9/10/1994 so she was 25 years old …
I didn’t notice the red flags till it was too late. I mentioned to this person that I had an old iPhone I do not use and they asked if I could send it to them, they asked for me to buy them a card twice, they asked for my Netflix account, and asked for me to create them a POF account and Facebook account, they also said they were in love with me after 2 weeks .. I didn’t send any of that but we did send pictures , this person wanted a video of myself to be sent but luckily I didn’t do that only pictures. I found out this person is a porn model known as liv revamped and her photos were stolen … I only spoke to this person for five weeks … I contacted them again with another number not telling them it was me and they made a new story up … I notice they used “am” a couple times and the format for when they type date of birth is … day month year which is not common in the United States . After that I cut all communication.
