The stolen images could be used by more than one scammer but it's hard to tell.
I have asked Firefly to take a look at the fake bank information to see if anything can be found.
If you could post a full header from either website (Remove any of your personal info) it might help us track the location of the scammer but probably not the name.

To show you exactly why we can tell the passport is a fake, compare it to what one should actually look like to see the difference.

Here's the easiest tell, look at the photo and see how the watermark pattern is missing on yours. Instantly tells us it's a fake, and that's not including all the other things wrong with it. Easy when you have one to compare it to, right?

OMG... why would any decent human being engage in immoral act as such is totally beyond me!?

FYI, I employed reverse image search early on before I came across your site and the results were also shocking - mostly profiles with photos of the same man (in my case, photos of Ned) on some shady non-US social media sites that totally blew me away (see uploaded attachment):

On Mamba:
as Bradley Fisher:
https://www.mamba.ru/en/profile/1780170484
as Robert Wells:
https://www.mamba.ru/he/profile/1783403870

On a French site Smail.fr as Jean-Michele:

https://www.smail.fr/profil/jeanmi010/images

On KikFriender as damisreal:

On a Russian site http://xn--f1al.xn--p1ai/ as Will Crusher:
http://xn--f1al.xn--p1ai/en/profile/1776103555

Wouldn't be surprised to find more if keep digging deeper but I have more important work to keep me occupied regularly (rolling my eyes here)...

It's so repulsive that my stomach is churning... Enjoy your weekend!

That fake bank fraudulent domain name expired, HappyGrandma.

Thank you for the screenshot.

The scammers will re-use that template and someone else might find it here before being too late.

Thank you for the updates on the bank sites, Firefly..., and thanks again, Wayne, for your reply on the fake IDs!

Here's a question to all: is there a way to find out where these personal photo images were stolen from, i.e. who is the real person in those photos? I am very curious about their reaction to these involuntary digital footprints they left behind on the internet, by force not by choice?

HappyGrandma,

Usually the pictures are stolen from the real owner social accounts.

We saw cases of real people having their stolen pictures used in similar scams getting harassed by victims unwilling to believe that the real person in those picture is not part of the scam.

In other cases, victims engaged in long time online relationships with scammers using the stolen pictures were trying to establish the same type of romantic relationship with the real owner of the stolen pictures used, ignoring the fact that the real person may already have a life.

The ones we notified about their pictures being stolen and used in fraud were appalled and upset, but sadly, there is not much they can do to stop it. Even if the real owner of the stolen pictures used in scam deletes their account, once used in scam the pictures will be re-used again and again.

Anything posted online can be re-used in fraud.

I just remember, before I sent him the $5K to pay for the shipping of his two boxes of inheritance from Bangkok to the US care of me, he instructed to have someone sent me a check (attached) as collateral claiming that's the payment for a project he did for them... can the authenticity of both the check, address of Martina Oriana of Habitats of Humanity International? Happy Sunday!

can the authenticity of both the check, address of Martina Oriana of Habitats of Humanity International be verified?
