Unbelievable!! I had someone contact me on my scamsurvivors YIM account using Cass' photo today wanting me to appear on webcam. I thought (after I thought it was someone messing with me) that it was a blackmail scam/sextortion, but I used my stock "guy gets naked" fake webcam footage and never received the threat. Weird. I did manage to get a header from this one along with some photos.

I am happy to find a Briefing Room describing the romance scam and finally finding out who Cassandra Really is. The info I have of this person is:

Lives in Ghana, and the same thing everyone else has been told about "they" need money to get back to the USA. and for "our" wedding. Be careful, this is a multi person scam. During my investigation that was for about a year, I studied this persons writing character and confronted them about it and got an confession with URL link to some "love writing helper" web site. I would call this person about any given time and vice versa. I wasn't attracted to this persons voice, but left room for error knowing I have a 38 y/o Russian female friend at home who's voice is not attractive also. They had a Ghanian accent and also spoke in Russian. I also talked on the phone and emailed one other male suspect apparently from the US Embassy but I could not find him on the US Embassy website. And a third male's email described as a grandfather with its own character.
