Ok, it is important now to break off all contact with him. Do not tell him a single thing, especially that you have reported him here. Then go read our topics: What to do if you are a victim of a scam viewtopic.php?f=11&t=26504

He also contacted me. Using a kids picture posing with him saying it is his son. He contacted me on Hinge. I could tell he was a scammer within just a few short minutes because of his shallow responses. His responses consisted of only a few words or short sentences with almost no feeling at all.
People please be careful. He claims to be in the US Military and that his father passed away when he was 3. He says he was born in Mexico but refers to his Mother as "Mum" which definitely nobody from Mexico calls their mother "Mum."

What name did the scammer use?: Medina Glover
What site/app did you first meet the scammer on?: Tinder
What email address(es) did the scammer use?: medinaglover4@gmail.com
What phone number(s) did the scammer use?: +1(813) 358-6493 +1(620) 220-6758

Briefly explain what happened during the scam. : We met on Tinder, he seemed genuine, said he was in the US Army, at Mac Dill, Florida. Had a son, the mother had left son so he was bringing him up. He had no other family. Originally from the Philippines and had moved to States age 15. Only child. Moved to needing help with his WiFi, so started sending money, then he would get sick, then his birthday, then he needed a phone so he could speak to me, then he wanted to progress in army to Commander position and that required money, then that didn't happen. He then said he would come visit me so I sent more money for his flights, hotel accommodation, taxis etc. This continued until I made him tell me the truth. He was nothing like the images I have attached and in Nigeria.

Bank Details were I sent payments are as follow;

Name: Tunde S. S.
Account Number: 123321XXXX
Recipients Email: tundaXXXXXX@gmail.com
Beneficiary Bank: Access Bank PLC (ABP)

He is now using a new phone number as well because he tried to contact me again +1 (707) 341-8816

Tunde told me he lived close to the army barracks and that was where he got the phone from and had used the images on that phone. He said he was a computer technician and fashion designer in his spare time. He also told me he was originally from a place called Ekiti and now he lived in Abuja.
