How much money did they demand?: 5000 euro
What steps, if any, have you already taken to block the scammer?: I realised it was a scam some time after he recorded embarrassing skype footage. I have blocked him from skype and his emails are diverted to a scam folder which I don't read.
Are there any other details you wish to share? Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed.: He claimed to be an architect working in Istanbul. The airline lost his luggage, including phone and laptop so he could only skype on a work phone which didn't have a camera. He could see my skype screen but I couldn't see his.
