Anything you say may help prevent someone else from being scammed.: He pretended to be retired from the French military and said he was traveling to visit friends still in the military. He supposedly traveled to Italy hence the Italian cell number and then to Mali. When in Mali, his credit card was stolen and he asked me to wire him 1000 Euros. That's when I got suspicious and ran this photos through TinEye. Bingo. I never sent him any money. But I did send him some pics. I did see him on Skype but the video quality was always poor and no audio of course. I talked to him several times on the phone. He had a French accent but I now realize they speak French in Mali too.

I wanted to add his used pictures of Felix Baumgartner. That is how I caught him. He used a picture of Felix with Gerard Butler. Dumb!

This literally just happened to me with this guy... and off of InternationalCupid!! He said his name was Tony and that he was in the French Military. He was traveling to Milan to talk to a friend about opening a bar because it was always a dream of his. He sent pictures and everything to make it look legit. We have been trying to Skype again today because the last time it seemed like we had a bad connection. Today, we tried again and what he sent was definitely a video. I couldn't hear him (of course) but it was definitely the guy that has been in all the pictures that was sent to me. Then when we tried again, it was the same video (still without sound) and it showed him do the same damn thing with his watch that I saw in the first video... The picture you attached was the original picture that was first up there... I questioned him and he said it was his friend that passed away. I have done that before so I didn't think anything of it. I did talk to "him" via Skype and his accent was quite different... it was french but something else.... definitely didn't fit his picture!!!

I am so glad I googled his phone number because now I know he is a scammer...
