It talks about the post scam phase and might be of help.
Although victim shaming is a problem in the real world, your friend did nothing wrong.
They only believed the lies of someone who's only motive was to steal their money.
The more these crimes get reported the sooner things will change.

Help yourself by helping others - report your scammer here.
Google can be your best friend;use it if you have doubts about someone met online. If someone met online only asks for money, no matter what reason, it´s 100% scam.

Do you have a scammer to report inside this topic?

E-mails, E-mail addresses, Phone numbers and fake documents. & places you were asked to send money are all helpful.

Yes, we consider the real owners of the stolen images to be another victim of the scammer and will only inform those owners if they are famous people.
