Briefly explain what happened during the scam. : have recently developed a relationship with someone who is now asking me for money. The contact number I have is current and contactable via WhatsApp but not via a direct call. The number is +44 7577 530027 The name he is using is Robert Hansmann He claims to be a Civil and Structural Design Engineer, owning his own company in Cambridge, U.K. and living in Coton, Cambridgeshire. He has travelled to Cyprus to secure a contract, which he claims he now has but is trying to get me to forward him money to secure a work permit to enable him to begin the work, claiming that his Canadian bank has blocked his account due to a supposed suspicious transaction. I haven't sent any money because I don't have any and wouldn't even if I had. I am still in contact with him not wanting to scare him into breaking contact

Robert Hansmann is definitely a romance scammer. I didn't get to being asked for money but things just didn't stack up. Couldn't find him on the voters roll where he claimed to live, couldn't find him on companies house despite him claiming to be a director and selfies he sent from his car indicated it was left hand drive despite claiming to live in London since 2015. Numbers used were: 07418373357 and 07418362760
