Asparagus Picking - $5,000 per month. Picking Asparagus Hours 5am - 12noon (asparagus
wilt if picked in afternoon). This job is about 1.25 hours from our hostel so would work
best for people to share a larger car/van and share gas money. Contract rates apply 23 - 27
cm Bin rates 99c per kg (20 kg Bins) People usually picking 5 - 10 Bins per day (most pick
about 7 Bins per day). Can pick own bins or into the same bin as a group. Backpacker is a
working hostel so this job suits people who are looking to stay in our backpackers.
Kiwifruit Stringing - $3,000 per month. 4 people are needed for kiwifruit stringing (Hours
5am-12noon) but must be 165cm + tall and good reliable workers and must stay at
Backpackers.
Seasonal Tractor Drivers - $4,800 per month. These roles are to start in spring and involve
planting, cultivation, drilling etc. You will need to be ready to start in the next few weeks to
a month and hold a current working permit.
You will be required to have:
• A full driver’s license
• Machinery operation experience
• Good mechanical knowledge
• A reliable and punctual attitude
Farm Assistant - $8,500 per month. We require that you have recent dairy/cattle farming
experience, know hard work and enjoy it! Milking experience preferred. Free shared
accommodation is provided, along with a great salary package. We require you to have a
working permit, the ability to commit for a minimum of three years, good communication
skills, be a team player, and speak fluent English. If this sounds like the job you are

Manufacturing Operators (factory) - $11,500 per month. U.S. Department of labor!! We
have a host of opportunities for positions and seasonal workers with experience. Some of
these positions include: Farm work, Truck, Tractor drivers, Forklift Operators, Factory
Workers Assignments run for various lengths of time and can be tailored to candidate and
employers needs. Requirements: You must possess a current "working permit ".
Beekeeper - $5,899 per month. Must not be allergic to Bees/stings etc. Reasonable
strength and fitness is required as there is heavy lifting involved in transporting Bee hives.
We are a working hostel so you would need to stay in our hostel as long as the work lasts.
Calf Feeder - $8,100 per month. Positions available on a large scale dairy unit. Duties to
include milking, stock work, etc., approximately 60 hours per week. Positions would suit a
couple as bedroom in accommodation would have to be shared. Positions available
immediately continue for the next 3 years. All applicants must hold a valid work visa, IRD
number.
Easy-going Helpers On Farm - $2,100 per month. (4 Hours Work 4 hours good work for
food and accommodation). Minimum stay on the farm is one week, but you can stay as
long as you like, if you are happy and think this is a good place to spend some more of
your time. You don't need any experience, as long as you are willing to help and keen on
learning a bit about organic farming.
Rider/groom Farm Work - $2,500 per month. (8am - 4pm). Good food and opportunities for
genuine, hard working people. High speed wifi. 15 minutes from shops and train.
Organic Farm Workers - $4,500 per month. (8am-4pm). There are over 35,000 fruit trees
mainly citrus and avocados and a greenhouse operation. Wwoofers are provided with food
and accommodation which is fully self contained. Food comes from the farm where
possible and then we top it up with whatever else is required. Wwoofers are required to
help in both the orchard and the greenhouse. We also have chickens, turkeys, ducks,
sheep and cows. Wwoofers are required to do 8hrs a day with a day off each week.
Horse Stud/ Sheep Farm Assistant - $2,500 per month. (8am-4pm). Help required on a
horse stud, cleaning, grooming, schooling & help on a sheep farm with general farm
duties. Accommodation & meals provided.
Beekeeping Assistant/laborer - $9,500 per month. Assisting with general beekeeping
duties, including working with the hives, in the shed building and assembling gear and
other general work as required. Must be fit and strong as there is some heavy lifting
involved.
Farm Stay - $2,100 per month (5am-12noon). A few hours a day for food and bed. Nice
walks close to town and beaches.
Seasonal Tractor Drivers - $6,800 per month. To help a small team with are frost season
day time and on call at night. Must have a good understanding of English!
Vineyard Staff, Supervisors, Assistant Manager - $14,000. Applicant should have multi
lingual skills and should be fluent in English. Should have at least 1.5 years experience in
supervision and should be well aware of Health & Safety and Hazard management.
Assistant Manager will be paid $(negotiable) PA and must have at least 4 years of vineyard
experience of management. Multi lingual skills will be an advantage. Fully furnished
Accommodation with all the amenities at $ 135.00 per week per person and transport ( pick
up to work and back home after work ) will be provided at $ 5.50 per person per day. Own
transport preferred. We require hard working and energetic men and women. We assure

Visa can start immediately.
Mixed Cropping Farm Position - ($9,500) per month. Hard working, practical, diligent, fit
person to assist us with the cultivation of our spring crops and harvest. This position is
suitable for someone with proven tractor driving skills, applicants must be prepared to
work long hours during peak periods accommodation is available on site. The position is
fulltime and is for a minimum 3 years. Remuneration to be negotiated depending on
experience.
Vineyard Worker - ($6,200) per month. Pruning training of young vines should be
physically fit as it involves lot of bending.
Animal Lover/ Farm Helper - ($3,500) per month. You would be required to work 4 hours a
day in exchange for ACCOMMODATION ONLY, onsite in a classic, comfortable, self
contained house bus (1 person or a couple). What fun!! Yes, there is a heater. You would
help out daily with the feeding and the general care-taking of the animals, this means
cleaning up after them (so please don't apply if you have a problem with getting your
hands dirty or hard work) as well as other odds and sods, like painting, gardening
(whatever you might be good at, (we will use your skills to their best possible use). We
require a MATURE, friendly, helpful work ethic and a 1 week years commitment is
required. (We often have helpers stay a lot longer than first expected
Experience is not
necessary but a willingness to listen and learn as well as a healthy dose of initiative and
common sense is essential. A good standard of English is also required.
Calf Rearer - $2,800 per month. Come and experience life on a dairy farm and help for 1-2
years feeding some baby calves. All living expenses provided and bonus at the end if you
can work hard!!
Factory Meat / Bone Packer - ($4,600) per month. Accommodation & transport available in
shared house if required. 6 jobs going including cutting and packing, carton stacking,
cleaning. Simple work with training given, you need to be fit, healthy and have a good
attitude to work. Non-smokers only, and you must be clean & tidy - no facial hair
permitted. Award wages, overalls and boots supplied. Suit fit enthusiastic girls or guys.
Work approx. 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and have weekends off. Short term
contract. Accommodation costs $140 per week including power, everything supplied.
Agricultural Contracting Operators & Mechanics - $14,500 per month. Agricultural
Machinery Operators required for a Contracting and farming business that specializes in
baling. Mechanics and Engineers, please consider applying. You will be working alongside
a great team of people in a good learning environment.
Tractor Driver - $5,500 per month. Accommodation included car and working permit. You
need to speak good English.
Factory Workers - $3,700 per month. The positions available at Sanfrancisco, California
Factory starting. You will be paid monthly. You will need to provide the following
information on arrival.
- Working Permit.
- Passport Valid.
You will need to stay in this Position for a minimum of 3 years or we will not bother to
employ you, due to costs lost with enrolment, medical tests and safety equipment
supplied by the U.S. Department of labor. You will need to spend this period of time also
staying at our accommodation.
Gardening / Cleaning / Nanny - $9,500 per month Male and Female required. We are
looking for a couple to work on our amazing lifestyle block in Florida. This position is best
suited to people who are fun, outgoing and motivated. The female would help with the
children to do nanny type duties during the day and the guy to work approx 20 hours per
week in exchange for accommodation in a fantastic stand-alone pool house and
negotiable wages . For the guy duties will include weeding and ground clearing and
planting in our garden, trimming hedges, painting post and rail fences, cleaning around
the house and general labor on our lifestyle block.
Pickers - $4,900 per month. Hand picking blue berries.
Tractor Driver/machine Operator - $10,500 per month. Primarily tractor driving doing
ploughing and cultivation work for coming contracting season.
Farm Work - $4,300 per month. Couple boys to help us with preparation for next year crop.
Calf Rearing Assistants - $12,000 per month. We rear 10,000 calves from 4days old to
3months old. We need extra helpers at least until the end of the year. Applicants need to
be fit, enjoy working with young animals, preferably experienced with quad bikes and
tractors. Duties include feeding milk and meal, cleaning equipment, weighing and sorting
animals and other farm duties. This work can be hard, bruising and muddy, and requires
patience and a sense of humor! Excellent back packer accommodation available on farm.
Farm Laborer/s - $4,900 per month. Position is available for travelers wishing to
experience rural. Generally it is a paid position although there is sometimes opportunity
for paid workers. Applicants ideally need to be physically capable, motivated, have good
work ethic and be safety conscious. Tasks include a variety of farm jobs including working
with livestock and general farm maintenance projects. Accommodation consists of an old
but comfortable 3 bedroom cottage with plenty of living area and all essential facilities.
Within the property is a river with recreational options. Accommodation and food
supplied.
Horse Farm/show jumping Stable - $6,400 per month. Assisting in the day to day care of
the horses, duties to include mucking out stables, helping feed the horses, brushing the
horses and maybe riding depending on experience.
Gardening and Farm Work - $3,500 per month (8am-4pm). House is big and warm with a
number of spare bedrooms.
Farm Work and Horse Work - ($5,400) per month. We require a worker to help us with calf
rearing and general farm work plus work with horses. that need feeding and riding.
Machinery and general farm hand - $9,500 per month. Including an applicant with general
farm machinery, experience, driving tractors, feeding out etc. Applicant with mechanical
minded, is required.

stay. Applicants must have a good level of English and be hard working. A 4 bedroom
house with internet and SKY TV is provided in return for 4 hours work per day (5 days per
week).
Horticulture - $8,400 per month. We have work for 3 physically fit males to work in
glasshouses stripping tomato plants. Days of work Mon - Fri from 8am - 5pm commencing.
You must have a valid Working permit.
Farm Assistant & Calf Feeder - $5,400 per month. Days of work Mon - Fri from 5am -
5pm.You must have a valid Working permit.
