Today is the day we remember those who passed due to COVID. It's something that touched my family as my father in law was taken by it. There's a page online for people to post up about it on Facebook, and my wife posted about her father there. The problem arose though when she was immediately hit on by a scammer as a reply to her post! Not one of those "NUDES IN BIO" ones, but a romance scammer. I wish she hadn't deleted the reply as I would have made that scammer's life hell. Nothing is sacred when it comes to scammers, not even grieving for a lost loved one. We often say there's no low a scammer won't stoop to, and how we're never surprised by what they do. This however is too sick for words, and is my new "lowest of the low" experience.
